About The Book of Kells Experience
The Book of Kells Experience, at Trinity College, includes the Book of Kells and the Long Room of the Old Library, with the Gaia installation, and three digital exhibitions in the Red Pavilion. All books from the Long Room except the first four bays have been removed for the Old Library Redevelopment Project, Trinity says. Entry is timed and online booking is strongly recommended; allow about 90 minutes. Open Monday to Thursday 8:30–18:30, Friday and Saturday 8:30–19:00, Sunday 9:00–18:30.
