About Kildare
West of Dublin, Kildare is horse country. The Irish National Stud combines horses, heritage and gardens, including its Japanese Gardens; Castletown House, built in the 1720s at Celbridge, set a radical precedent for Irish architecture; and Kildare Village has more than 100 boutiques. Carton House, at Maynooth, has The Morrison Room, with One MICHELIN Star.
